


Sessional IMCA (Independent Mental Capacity Advocates)

Salary: £11.70 per hour
An exciting opportunity has arisen for sessional advocates to join our
Advocacy Team
We are looking to recruit highly motivated and skilled individuals, to join Age Concern Newham as sessional bank staff.
Your role as an IMCA will be to deliver high quality independent advocacy supporting clients within the scope of the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
The successful applicants will have experience of working with people who lack capacity, a working experience/knowledge of advocacy, the ability to travel within Newham and will be able to work effectively as part of a team. The successful applicants will be effective communicators and have a strong commitment to advocacy. We are especially keen to hear from advocates with a background in working with service users with learning disabilities.
