ABOUT THE HEALTH ACTIVITY NETWORK

We have been commissioned by the London Borough of Newham to deliver the Health Activity Network in the North of Newham which includes:

• Green Street
• Manor Park
• Forest Gate
• Stratford/West Ham

The Health Activity Network is being delivered through a range of partner organisations including:

• Trinity Centre (E12)
• London Tamil Sangham,
• EKTA
• Harold Road Community Centre
• Malayalee Association UK
• Carpenters and Dockland Community Centre
• Hibiscus Community Centre
• Chatsworth Community Centre
• East London Dance

WHAT WE PROVIDE AND HOW WE CAN HELP

Together with our partners we are delivering a range of activities in the community. These include:

• Dance
• Movement to music
• Art
• Walking
• Cook and taste
• Sports activities

ACTIVITY BUDDIES

Something it is hard to start a new activity on your own. If you're aged over 50 we can link you with an Activity Buddy - someone of a similar age who encourage you on your way.

GIVING SOME TIME

We are looking for people who would be happy to give time to be volunteer activity buddies.

you could support another person to join in with activities and introduce them to other people.

WHAT'S ON

If you are aged over 50 and live in Manor Park, Green Street, Forest Gate, or Stratford/West Ham come and join us in an activity.
